A custom-built stage, made for the electronic music enthusiast, plays host to some of the biggest dance and electronic names from across the globe. Witness your favourite DJs and producers taking over the renowned Dance Dome.

An architecturally designed stage, Dr Dans - a space that unites artists and dancers. Expect a multi-sensory experience with world-class audio visual production encompassing music and art. 

Having built a strong reputation with a cult following among festival goers, the stage features DJ sets from headliners, homegrown talent and international acts with ‘secret sets’.

Dr Dans is in loving memory of our legendary friend Dr Daniel Christidis. This unique space is one to bring together friends, new and old, for moments we won’t ever forget.

Missed out on camping? Why not explore our local areas and stay nearby. The BTV site is perfectly situated near some picturesque towns with various transport options to the festival.

Consider the Surf Coast for it's pristine beaches, delicious bars & restaurants and numerous accommodation options.

If cottagecore vibes are more your style, explore the Golden Plains & Otways area for some small town charm and tranquil airbnbs and farmstays.

Geelong is another great option. Ideally located between Melbourne & BTV, enjoy waterfront attractions, extensive accommodation options and direct bus to BTV.

After its debut at Beyond The Valley 2022, the Podcast Stage will be making a return this year! Take a break between sets and join the conversation as your favourite podcasters unpack diverse topics including inclusivity, sex, health, friendships and global news. Experience live and interactive recordings from pop-culture icons in a chill-out space within the main arena where you can step away from the music and join a bigger discussion.

Uncover Schmall Klub at Beyond The Valley, a concealed party in an intimate setting with spontaneous sets from tastemaker selectors. Guests can expect to feel transported to the European club scene in a space that is strictly limited capacity with industrial interior design and custom audio and visual production.

Beyond the Valley is extremely privileged and proud to support the Wadawurrung Traditional Custodians in delivering a Welcome to Country and Smoking Ceremony to mark the start of our four day camping festival.

The protocol of welcoming those who are visiting country has always been an element of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture, whether that be for welcoming other nations who had been given permission to enter the welcoming nation, or for recognising and celebrating culture to welcome non-Indigenous people to land. 

We ask all to be present for the welcoming ceremony as a way of paying respects to the land and the traditional owners of our temporary home. Attending a Welcome to Country expresses to the traditional custodians your recognition, as a festival patron, that Barunah Plains, surrounding landscapes and the entire Australian continent always was and always will be Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander land.

“A Welcome to Country is a time honoured ceremony. It is a bestowing upon the visitors that is a rite of passage allowing all access to waterways and food sources. The ceremony is a peaceful experience and is the coming together of two cultures. It allows us to relearn, in togetherness, what was already learned. This is important so that we can heal this planet and understand the beauty of the past and strive as one towards understanding and healing. It gives us the opportunity to enjoy what we have into the future and protect forevermore the animals, the plants and the riverways. The Wadawurrung peoples believe that the smoke in a smoking ceremony cleanses the body and strengthens an individual's connection to the land. It is conducted in honour of Tharangalk “The Gum Leaf Country”.

Beyond The Valley acknowledges the importance of a Welcome to Country and Smoking Ceremony, we offer thanks and pay respect to the Wadawurrung peoples for providing this opportunity and for welcoming us to their land. As an event group, we will respect the land and to the best of our ability return it as we have found it. We hope that as patrons of Beyond the Valley Festival you will support us in that goal through being considerate and understanding of the importance of the land that you will walk on. We also hope to see you present at our Welcome to Country and following ceremonies, to pay your respect to the Wadawurrung peoples and their elders past and present.

The central strip of the festival, a meeting place for new and old friends alike.  Main Street can be found between the campgrounds and main arena, and will lead you to our Market Village, Main Info Hub, The Sanctuary, Better Beer Beach Club and much more to explore.

Step away from the music and go for a swim at the Better Beer Beach Club, a poolside paradise that is the perfect place to rest and relax.

A place of calm within the hum of Beyond the Valley, The Sanctuary will play host to a range of workshops and activities. On offer will be sessions such as daily meditation and yoga classes, sound healing, immersive theatre, speed dating, and more! Find balance in your Beyond the Valley experience and take advantage of what The Sanctuary has to offer.

Yasss! POOF DOOF are back with The Orchard for our eighth edition. Discover this fabulous party precinct on Main Street at Beyond The Valley.

Queer festival icons in their own right, POOF DOOF have worked with BTV since 2018 to create unique festival moments including guerilla drag takeovers, double decker bus raves and iconic queer programming of Dr Dan's each year.

The Orchard combines the POOF DOOF nightclubbing and festival experience into one all-out queer zone where festival fans can party from day into night, throw shade with drag stars, shop fierce fits and even take dance class!

Join us at The Orchard for an ever-evolving celebration of queer music, artistry, diversity and good times.

Jump on the Beyond The Valley Ferris Wheel and admire Barunah Plains in its entirety. Located within the main arena, ascend and be treated to a panoramic view of the festival unfolding below you!
