At Beyond The Valley, we proudly support Wadawurrung Traditional Custodians in presenting a Welcome to Country and Smoking Ceremony to open the festival. 

This practice invites all who gather to reflect on the deep time held in this land and to honour cultural traditions carried for over 60,000 years.

We thank the Wadawurrung Peoples for their generosity and guidance, which help us understand how to gather with care.

We invite you to join us in attending this important ceremony, walking respectfully on Wadawurrung Country and Eastern Maar Country, and leaving the Barunah Plains site as you found it. This land always was and always will be Aboriginal land.

Hosting some of the biggest names from across the globe, the Valley Stage will undergo a reimagined design matching the calibre of our 10th Birthday celebrations. 

We’re excited to welcome UK-based design studio Vision Factory, who have been the masterminds of creative direction for some of the world’s biggest festivals, to be the curators behind this year’s Valley Stage.

Hosting an array of top-tier and breakthrough bands, electronic acts, and hip hop artists, you’ll discover an eclectic combination of international and homegrown artists taking on our centre stage.

The Dance Dome is a cultural staple of BTV and a rite of passage in your festival experience.

Our iconic custom-built stage, created for the true electronic music enthusiast, plays host to some of the biggest names in dance and electronic music from across the globe. Step inside the renowned Dance Dome and witness your favourite DJs and producers take over the decks in a space built to move you.

An architecturally designed stage, Dr Dans - a space that unites artists and dancers.

Last years’ popular industrial design will return, heroing shipping containers with some fresh new surprises. 

Having built a strong reputation with a cult following among festival goers, the stage features DJ sets from headliners, homegrown talent and international acts with ‘secret sets’.

Dr Dans is in loving memory of our legendary friend Dr Daniel Christidis. This unique space is one to bring together friends, new and old, for moments we won’t ever forget.

Welcome to The Lounge Room. Sit back, relax and take in a jam-packed schedule of daily conversations, podcasts, movies and extra curricular magic. A fresh new experience born from The OG Podcast Stage that we know and love, we're bringing more lounging, more yaps and more cheeky surprises you didn't know you needed. Think of it like your BTV second home; grab a spot and pull up a seat.

This year, POOF DOOF invites you to Cirque Du Slay, the only circus dance club serving Mardi Gras realness at the Dr Dans District.
